Shasta Winn, Program Director, is a compassionate counselor and guide who has been actively supporting the personal journeys of others since 2006. She attained an undergraduate degree in social work from Wheelock College in Boston, Massachusetts, and over the course of the next 15 years, designed and supported over a dozen outpatient, intensive outpatient, and transitional living programs in New Hampshire. Shasta received her graduate degree in Psychology and Counseling from Goddard College, in Vermont, in 2012, and from 2009-2017 was a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (MLADC) in New Hampshire. Shasta operated her private outpatient practice and halfway house, Another Way Counseling PLLC, from 2014-2017 and briefly taught undergraduate Biopsychology as an online adjunct faculty instructor for Southern NH University, before transitioning to focus on healing using journeying specifically. From 2017 to present, Shasta has been focusing on healing using hypnotic journeying and plant medicines. She attended conferences and workshops hosted by MAPS and Zendo, but completed her personal training and initiations into these practices as a self-guided mystical process, isolated for 40-days deep in nature. During this private hermitage with intense focus on psilocybin, Shasta experienced great transformation and formed her relationship with the mushroom, which now allows her to confidently guide others through their sessions. She has been facilitating private journeys, using psilocybin, since 2018. Shasta is a passionate teacher and guide, with a grateful heart, who is serious about her role and responsibilities as a director of such a training program.
Mike Welch, Lead Educator, is a Myco-Method graduate, and an experienced guide in psilocybin, men's therapy, and martial arts. With decades of expertise, Mike blends these disciplines to empower individuals on a transformative journey toward self-fulfillment and self-realization. Father of two, married for 25 years, Mike places a strong emphasis on relationships. Having faced and overcome challenges involving anger, anxiety, and substance abuse, he is dedicated to assisting others on their paths to personal growth. Embracing the philosophy that "a stream that is too pure has no fish," Mike acknowledges the complexities of life and aims to let individuals know they are not alone in their struggles. For over 15 years, Mike has been an active member of the Mankind Project, immersing himself in men's therapy and personal growth. Leveraging this experience, he creates a supportive space for individuals exploring their masculinity or femininity, seeking understanding, or desiring a safe male energy. Mike's goal is to foster emotional intelligence and facilitate authentic connections among his students. 
Valentine Welch, Lead Educator, is a Myco-Method graduate with a 2023 bachelor's degree in psychology. She draws from a diverse background in early childhood development, caring for disadvantaged children, and serving as an EMT in emergency and hospice care for over 10 years. Her journey towards becoming a counselor was influenced by her experiences in the medical field and early childhood education. However, it was personal exploration with psychedelics that unveiled a unique path to lasting healing and systemic change. Immersed in a San Diego psychedelic healing community, Valentine developed a playful and joyful approach, balanced with respect and responsibility. Leveraging her education, she is dedicated to guiding facilitators in creating safe, sacred, and client-centered environments for transformative psilocybin experiences, fostering expansive personal growth.
Karlene Linxweiler, Lead Educator, has nearly 20 years of experience in education and instruction, as well as curriculum development and training. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education, with focus on History and Political Science. She graduated cum laude from Keene State in New Hampshire with her degree in 2008. She also completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program, is a Level II Reiki Practitioner, an Access Consciousness practitioner, a Level II Quantum Healing Hypnosis Practitioner, an Aerial Yoga teacher, Aerial Silks Advanced instructor, Buti Yoga instructor, Mat Pilates instructor, and Nutrition Specialist, as well as a former social sciences and psychology teacher. She has independently developed online and in personal teacher trainings for aerial yoga and aerial fabric, as well as led international yoga retreats for holistic healing. She personally studies acupressure, tai chi, qigong, and many other healing modalities and styles of yoga. She has worked personally under the guidance of master hypnotists, Tom Nicoli and Mark Johnson, and taken courses with world renowned regressionists and hypnotherapists Roy Hunter and Paul Aurand, as well as trained and certified under the The International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT) as a licensed and certified Hypnotherapist for IACT. She is also trained in Alchemical Hypnosis and accredited with the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH.) Karlene has been a client, student, and friend of Shasta Stewart Winn, for several years, and has done several psilocybin guided therapy sessions with her. She has found this work healing, powerful, and transformative. It is her mission to help others heal their bodies and minds through therapeutic medicine and holistic modalities, as she has personally seen and felt the benefits of this powerful method.
Doreen "Dodi" Marvell, Lead Educator, is a natural teacher with over 30 years experience educating some of the most challenging, and rewarding, students as a special education instructor. Dodi attained her undergraduate degree in outdoor recreation from Unity College in Maine in 1985, and from there started her career in an “Outward Bound” program, providing supportive education in challenging natural environments to kids and teens struggling behaviorally. Here she realized her passion for teaching and she ultimately received her graduate degree in education from St. Michael’s in Vermont. Over the course of 3 decades she provided training and compassionate care to school children age K to 12, with behavioral conditions and physical disabilities. Dodi retired from teaching in the Oregon School district in 2010, but she is still passionate about teaching, and about learning about the best ways to facilitate psilocybin treatment, and to support those who desire to responsibly facilitate treatment sessions.
